Acting

From this class you can learn acting techniques, interpretation of scripts, scene play, etc. We offer bronze, silver, gold and diamond level classes for different levels of learners. Bronze classes are for beginner learners. Silver classes are for intermediate learners. Gold classes are for advanced learners. Diamond classes are for professional learners. After each level of classes, learners can take LAMDA examinations to get certificates. In-house test is also needed to proceed to next level.

Course Overview

Bronze

Duration: 16 classes, 1hour/class

This course is an introductory acting class for beginners. The focus of this class is to provide your child with many enjoyable experiences in acting and opportunity to learn and develop a variety of acting-related skills. Through acting, playing, mimicking your child will experience various elements of acting. This course is a study of theories, methods, and the best practices for acting training. It will prepare your child to know acting techniques and perform a show on stage. Experiences include development of acting training, techniques of improvising and mime performance. With teacher’s guidance, your child will learn more about what characters are suitable for them and explore their potential for more different roles.

Assessment: This is a performance-based class; in order to succeed in this class, your child MUST perform in the last session.

Curriculum:

• Conduct Improv performance
• Cooperate with other students
• Understand the basic acting structure

Class Objectives:

By the end of this course, students will be able to:
• provide the opportunity for students to improve performance skills through acting;
• perform a scene on stage;
• deliver monologues;
• understand how to use voice in performance

Silver

Duration: 16 courses, 1hour/class

This course is an intermediate acting class. The focus of this class is to promote the acting skills. Through acting, improvising and breaking down of characters, your child will experience a great progress in acting. This course will prepare your child to grasp the acting techniques and become better at improvising performance. Experiences include development of acting training, techniques of improvising and how to perform in front of a camera.

Assessment: This is a performance-based class; in order to succeed in this class, your child MUST perform in the last session.

Curriculum:

• Learn how to express feelings
• Conduct Improv performance
• Cooperate with other students

Class Objectives:

By the end of this course, students will be able to:
• provide the opportunity for students to improve performance skills through acting;
• perform a scene in front of camera;
• interpret and understand scripts with critical thinking;
• perform in improv scenes;
• break down characters

Gold

Duration: 16 courses, 1hour/class

This course is an advanced acting class. The focus of this class is to refine acting skills. Through acting, learning voice & speech, scene play and analyzing script, child will experience a great progress in acting. This course will prepare your child to get ready to do casting and audition. Experiences include development of advanced acting techniques, professional adjustment in acting movements and how to perform in front of a camera.

Assessment: This is a performance-based class; in order to succeed in this class, your child MUST perform in the last session.

• Conduct Improv performance
• Cooperate with other students
• Break down characters
• Pretend audition in class

Class Objectives:

By the end of this course, students will be able to:
• provide the opportunity for students to improve performance skills through acting;

• interpret and understand scripts with critical thinking;
• perform in improv scenes;
• break down characters;
• get auditions

Diamond

Duration: one-year program, at least 16 hours /week

When you are in this level, we will help you to get ready to become a real artist. You will not only receive professional instructions from our studio, but also the real-world performance opportunities from Na Gao, the founder of the studio and our professional artist agent. At this level we only provide tailored one-on-one class to fit your needs. After the class, you can make your debut as a singer, dancer or an idol. Our studio will work with various media companies to make you famous.
