Courses for Grade K-6
Acting

Students will learn basic acting terms, characterization, responsibility, public speaking tools, and memorization skills. The main goals of this course are developing memorization abilities, speaking skills, and learning how to express feelings physically and emotionally.
Vocal

This course will focus on language training and vocal training. Includes phonology and techniques for processing language. Through singing and listening, your child will learn how to pronounce words clearly, breath control, vocal voice control, and how to use resonance.
Guitar

Through in-class instruction and individual practice, the student will advance in their understanding of music and guitar pedagogy. With experience, the student will be able to play a variety of chords common to contemporary music, read a "lead sheet" and play single-line melodies
Acting

Acting

Students will learn how to approach monologues and/or scenes, focusing on Stanislavski's seven questions as a basis for creating well-rounded characters. The main emphases of this course will be developing memorization abilities, learning acting theories, character development, and applying acting techniques.
Vocal

This course is for the student to develop into a professional singer. Through singing and listening, your child will learn how to use resonance, more about their own voice texture and range, how to sing high notes, and how to process songs. This course aims to expand singing skills and is good for aural training.
Guitar

The student will advance in the understanding of music and guitar pedagogy. Students will also learn about instrument care and maintenance. The overall objective is to provide the student with the introductory knowledge on the guitar to continue playing after the course is ended.
