We offer K-pop dancing class and Hip-hop dancing class in our studio.

K-pop: You can learn K-Pop idol elements such as movement quality, discipline, and self-confidence.

Hip-hop: You can learn dance techniques, expression control and will be able to perform a dance.

Course Overview

K-pop Dance Class

Duration: 16 courses, 1hour/class

The focus of this class is to provide your child with many enjoyable experiences in dancing and opportunity to learn and develop a variety of dance-related skills. This course incorporates teaching methods that focus on K-Pop idol elements such as movement quality, discipline, and self-confidence while taking in concepts and philosophies from Urban Dance. Experiences include development of dancing training, techniques of steps and expression control. Emphasis will be placed on technique, movement skills, knowledge, and aesthetics of each dance style, while also learning components of health-related fitness. The dance class strives to promote a lifelong interest in both dance and physical fitness.

Assessment: This is a performance-based class; in order to succeed in this class, your child MUST perform on the last session.

Curriculum:

• Stretch our body

• Break up dance steps

• Learn how to find the rhythm in the song

• Build a positive self-image

• Learn how to count the beats

• Learn basic dance moves

• Learn K-pop dance

• To learn different origins and history of dances

• To gain understanding and develop appreciation of dance through reflection on dances of various styles experienced as participation and audience

• To provide enjoyment and understanding of health-related fitness

• To create dances in order to express personal ideas and feelings

Hip-Hop Dance Class

Duration: 16 courses, 1hour/class

The focus of this class is to provide your child with many enjoyable experiences in dancing and opportunity to learn and develop a variety of dance-related skills. This course is a study of theories, methods and the best practices for dance training. It will prepare your child to know dance techniques and perform a complete dance show on stage. Experiences include development of dancing training, techniques of steps and expression control. Emphasis will be placed on technique, movement skills, knowledge, and aesthetics of each dance style, while also learning components of health-related fitness. The dance class strives to promote a lifelong interest in both dance and physical fitness.
